Please read our Homing Criteria BEFORE applying for any of our dogs.

BREED: Miniature Labradoodle
SEX: Female (Neutered)
AGE: Aprox. 6 Years
SIZE: Medium (12 Kg)

Coco is a lovely girl, very sweet-natured and calm, although still a bit bewildered about life in the busy world, as she has come from a very quiet home where she saw little in the way of outside stimulus. She is growing in confidence as she learns to know and trust more people, but this will be an ongoing process and will require a kind, patient and empathic owner to help her to progress, someone who will reassure her but also push her comfort zones to enable her to expand her hosizons!

Coco is unlikely to have lived with children, and we would like to place her where there are no resident children under 10years as we think she would find their normal noisy play too intimidating in the early stages. She is unknown with cats or small pets. She enjoys the company of other dogs, and would do best in a home where there is another calm, friendly dog who will act as a canine mentor friend and boost her confidence.

Coco walks nicely on the lead and is good to handle but new things, new noises and new people can worry her. and overcoming this will be an incremental process for her - but she will be worth it! She is a lovely girl She will need company most of the time.

When a dog moves into a new home, they need time and consideration to help them feel confident and settled. They are having to adjust to a totally different environment, with new people and new challenges, and when one adopts a rescue dog, one must be ready to help them through not just the first few days, but for as long as it takes for them to feel comfortable in their new life. They are relying on their new owners to teach them the house rules and all about the new world they are living in. They are likely to need and benefit from dog training classes, and may also need behavioural help and the adopter may need to seek professional advice. If you are considering adopting, please be very sure that you are committed to the needs of your new friend, as they will be relying on you and their life and happiness is literally in your hands. This will last for their lifetime, so please also take an honest look at your age and activity levels and ensure that you are likely to be able to meet their ongoing needs.
