PEGGY
Please read our Homing Criteria BEFORE applying for any of our dogs.
BREED: Terrier Cross
SEX: Female (Will need Neutering in February)
AGE: Aprox. 9 Years
SIZE: Small
....meet Peggy, a bright and lovely natured Jack Russell who is looking for a kind and loving new home due to sad personal circumstances which don't allow her to stay with her previous owner. Peggy is 9 years old and a sweet and affectionate girl who needs lots of love and security and thrives on attention.
Ideally , she would benefit from being the only dog in the household & with someone that is either retired or works from home but enjoys walking and cuddling up on the sofa. She is quiet and not a yappy dog and is healthy and up to date with vaccinations and flea & worming treatment. She has recently had a dental procedure so all nice clean teeth, and just needs to be neutered in Feb after recently finishing her season (which DBARC will cover the costs of as long as done at the vets we use)
Please can you provide dear little Peggy with a kind, gentle and loving home and in return she will quickly adore you!!!
When a dog moves into a new home, they need time and consideration to help them feel confident and settled. They are having to adjust to a totally different environment, with new people and new challenges, and when one adopts a rescue dog, one must be ready to help them through not just the first few days, but for as long as it takes for them to feel comfortable in their new life. They are relying on their new owners to teach them the house rules and all about the new world they are living in. They are likely to need and benefit from dog training classes, and may also need behavioural help and the adopter may need to seek professional advice. If you are considering adopting, please be very sure that you are committed to the needs of your new friend, as they will be relying on you and their life and happiness is literally in your hands. This will last for their lifetime, so please also take an honest look at your age and activity levels and ensure that you are likely to be able to meet their ongoing needs.
Please fill in our Application Form if you are interested in adopting this dog
(If the animal’s name does not appear in the drop down box on the form - it means the animal is already reserved)
