MARY

£0.00

Please read our Homing Criteria BEFORE applying for any of our dogs.

BREED: Chihuahua Cross
SEX: Female (Neutered)
AGE: Aprox. 2 Years
SIZE: Small (6kg)

Mary has been the companion of an elderly lady but has been surrendered along with her sister Mave because their owner has had to move into permanent nursing home care. Mary is a very sweet little dog, very affectionate and good natured, but she has lived a fairly sheltered life. She has been in a foster home while waiting to come to DBARC, and whilst she has been very good with the fosterer's children, these children are very dog-savvy and Mary has been used to a quieter life so we do not feel she would do well with children under 10 years.

Mary has always lived with her sister, but is also sociable with other dogs although she can be a bit intimidated by larger or very boisterous dogs. She has not lived with cats or small pets.

Mary travels well in the car and is good to walk on the lead. She loves her walks, so will need an active new owner to share them with. She has never been left alone, having had almost constant companionship as well as her sister, so will need company most of the time.

Please fill in our Application Form if you are interested in adopting this dog

(If the animal’s name does not appear in the drop down box on the form - it means the animal is already reserved)
