COOPER
Please read our Homing Criteria BEFORE applying for any of our dogs.
BREED: CAVERPOOCHON
SEX: Male (neutered)
AGE: Aprox. 5 Years
SIZE: Small (3kg)
Meet Cooper he’s a 5 year old neutered male Caverpoochon.
Cooper is a Caverpoochon, a mix of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Poodle and Bichon Frise.
He is an anxious little soul who just wants to be with his people and loves nothing more than sitting on your lap; a true lap dog but he is reactive and barks at anything from a leaf, to a car door opening etc
He will need a family who are prepared to put the work into helping this little man understand life is not as scary as he thinks.
He's a sweet and friendly little guy who just wants lots of love - are you able to give this to him?
Please only apply if you feel you are able to cope with his behaviour - please look beyond the cuteness!
When a dog moves into a new home, they need time and consideration to help them feel confident and settled. They are having to adjust to a totally different environment, with new people and new challenges, and when one adopts a rescue dog, one must be ready to help them through not just the first few days, but for as long as it takes for them to feel comfortable in their new life. They are relying on their new owners to teach them the house rules and all about the new world they are living in. They are likely to need and benefit from dog training classes, and may also need behavioural help and the adopter may need to seek professional advice. If you are considering adopting, please be very sure that you are committed to the needs of your new friend, as they will be relying on you and their life and happiness is literally in your hands. This will last for their lifetime, so please also take an honest look at your age and activity levels and ensure that you are likely to be able to meet their ongoing needs.
Please fill in our Application Form if you are interested in adopting this dog
(If the animal’s name does not appear in the drop down box on the form - it means the animal is already reserved)
