BREED: Collie Cross Terrier
SEX: Female (Neutered)
AGE: Aprox. 6 Months
SIZE: Medium
Tali is a very cute and very intelligent Terrier cross Collie who sadly is back with us after being adopted because her new owner was allergic to her.
This sweet girl has had a lot of upset over the last few weeks - so it is now important to make sure her next home is truly her forever home.
Tali is very clever and will excel at training - and training she must have. She's already missed out on a lot of early socialisation so her new parents will need to be ready to get her into doggie school to teach her all the important stuff she needs to learn.
She is super friendly and eager to learn and would be a very good candidate for Agility, flyball or some other doggie sport when a little older.
When a dog moves into a new home, they need time and consideration to help them feel confident and settled. They are having to adjust to a totally different environment, with new people and new challenges, and when one adopts a rescue dog, one must be ready to help them through not just the first few days, but for as long as it takes for them to feel comfortable in their new life. They are relying on their new owners to teach them the house rules and all about the new world they are living in. They are likely to need and benefit from dog training classes, and may also need behavioural help and the adopter may need to seek professional advice. If you are considering adopting, please be very sure that you are committed to the needs of your new friend, as they will be relying on you and their life and happiness is literally in your hands. This will last for their lifetime, so please also take an honest look at your age and activity levels and ensure that you are likely to be able to meet their ongoing needs.
Hopefully this sweet girl will find her new forever family very soon.
