BREED: Labrador X
SEX: Male (Neutered)
AGE: Aprox. 1 Year
SIZE: Large

Handsome young Bailey has been a very loved dog, but has very sadly been given up for rehoming because his owner has become seriously ill. Faced with a long hospital stay and ongoing issues, his owner felt that Bailey would be too much for his elderly parents to manage, and with no other family members, he decided Bailey would need to find a new home. Bailey is quite a large, strong dog and although he has had some basic training, and has a good recall and knows "sit" and "stay", he is inclined to pull on the lead so will need some further training and a capable handler to teach him. He has a lovely nature, and loves treats and cuddles!

Bailey has not lived with children, and although he has met and been around lots of young people, he is a bigger dog so we would not wish to place him with children under 10 years. He has not lived with cats or small pets. Although he has not shared a home with another dog, he has socialised with many other dogs and been very good with them, and this will be best maintained by allowing him to meet other nice-natured dogs and also by the controlled environment of dog training classes, which he will enjoy and benefit from.

Bailey is a lovely dog with a kind nature and a really fun personality. He is just a youngster, but has had a great start in life and will make a super companion for anyone willing to give him the time and attention that all young dogs need. He will need company most of the time.
