JESSIE
Please read our Homing Criteria BEFORE applying for any of our dogs.
BREED: Labrador cross GSD
SEX: Female
AGE: Aprox. 7 months
SIZE: Medium/Large (15 kg)
Jessie & her brother were surrendered into rescue as the remaining puppies from an unplanned litter who were not rehomed. Their former owner is the owner of both parents (mother now spayed to prevent any repetition) and had hoped to find homes for all the puppies but failed, and realised they could not cope with two extra dogs!
Jessie will be a medium to large dog when adult. She is an extremely bright dog who learns things quickly, and has a strong personality, so whilst she is affectionate and happy, she is not the sort of dog who is suitable for a first-time dog owner. She will do well with someone who has had larger dogs before and who enjoys training them. Dog training classes will be an immediate essential to help her catch up on early training, and this will also give her a chance to use her considerable brain power. This active and intelligent dog is going to thrive with plenty of mental and physical exercise.
Jessie is not suitable to live with children under 12 years. She has not lived with cats or small pets. She will need company most of the time.
Please fill in our Application Form if you are interested in adopting this dog
