BREED: Labrador Cross
SEX: Male (Neutered)
AGE: Aprox. 3 Years
SIZE: Large (31 kg)
Handsome Rover was handed into a dog pound as a stray, and in very poor bodily condition. He was never claimed and was then taken into the care of a rescue fosterer to enable him to recover, and he soon put on weight and is now in great shape and ready to find a permanent loving home.
Rover has been very good with the other dogs in the foster home, but has not met cats or small pets. He has been confident and sociable with people of all ages including children, but as he has no long term history, we would not wish to place him with children under 10 years. His fosterer also said that Rover loves his walks and can be a bit strong on the lead at first, but soon settles. He is a lovely boy!
Rover will need some further training, as his background is unknown. He is a lively dog who will need plenty of exercise and plenty of fun and love, and company most of the time.
